This page will be the jumping off place for getting into all of the data we have collected for the Buckleys of Cappawhite. Although I will talk a little about what these types of records are, the emphasis will be on actually posting the data itself. At this point, I am putting all the data in one place for the first time so all I have done so far is to push it into piles according to the different types.

As time goes on, it is my intention to place all of these data in a relational database, with the goal of being able to do searches on the records to find, say all the records in the collection dealing with an individual named Patrick Buckley. I may be biting off more than I can chew, or the data may turn out to be so thin that the results are anticlimactic. Only time will tell . . .
For now, however, the data will be broken out into the following categories: (1) family history -- stories of the Buckleys of Cappawhite as passed down within the various families; (2) birth/baptismal data, including church records, civil registration data, and data from any other sources such as gravestones; (3) marriage data, largely from church records; (4) property records, which at this time consists only of records of the Tithe Applotments of 1826 and the Griffith's Valuation survey completed in 1851 and updated through the early 1960s; and (5) death data, including civil registration extracts, death certificates, and gravestone transcriptions.
